The Soho House Palm Springs
Poses a Significant Threat to the Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood

A football field sized Day Club in a Residential Neighborhood?

Soho House’s exclusionary private club proposal is prohibited under the existing Residential (R2) zoning protections of the Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood and in direct conflict with the values of Palm Springs, one of the world’s most inclusive communities.

Under the guise of a 'swimming club,' Soho House has repeatedly minimized – and at times obscured – the true scale and intensity of its proposed development while seeking sweeping exceptions to established zoning protections. In reality, the project functions as a 1000+ capacity commercial entertainment complex featuring multiple large scale restaurants, bar operations, events, nightlife, amplified sound, and expressly prohibited off-site parking incompatible with the surrounding historic residential neighborhood.

If approved, the proposal would fundamentally and irreversibly alter the character, livability, and historic integrity of the Historic Tennis Club Neighborhood.

This website will serve as a central resource for residents, stakeholders, and concerned members of the public by exposing the full scope and impacts of the proposed development, documenting the zoning and environmental issues involved, and outlining specific legal, administrative, and community actions available to oppose the project.
